Bewildered #19? - The gospel is the gospel of grace, not the gospel of law

Acts 20 :24 (NLT)
24 But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God

Romans 1:16-17 (NLT)
16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.[g] 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.[h]

The gospel is the Good News.  Any other gospel is not the Good News.

The Good News is all about the wonderful grace of God, not the wonderful news of the law. There is no wonderful news of the law because it only brings death and condemnation.

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight.

The Good News is the power of God at work.  The law has no power  but only points to how sinful we are. The law cannot save us.

It is through faith that a righteous person has life.  Faith is basically our response to accept without doubt what the Good News is all about, the wonderful grace of God of how we have been made righteous before Him.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The Good News is of grace, not law, because grace is the person Jesus and what He has done for us.

Grace, the person Jesus  died and redeemed us from the penalty of sin which is death and gives us eternal life instead. Grace gives life.

Grace, the person Jesus took the curses of the law on our behalf.  The law can only show how sinful we are and the curses that we will be under but has no power to nullify the curses. Jesus nailed, nullified the curses of the law on the cross.

Only the gospel of grace is the Good News .
oooooooooooooooooo
Having faith in the Good News  of grace, and grace is the person Jesus, can give us life.

Rejoice
