He is madly in love with you

Isn't it wonderfully amazing to know that God loves us despite our warts and unsightly behaviour? If getting right with our behaviour first before God loves us is to believed, then God is not God at all as our good/bad behaviour can turn on or off the tap of His love for us. In other words, we can control and manipulate God's mood.

God loves us first before we can love Him (1John 4:19), and it is not the other way round. The enemy specialises in twisting the scripture around inorder to deceive us.

God's love is unconditional as He is God. His divine love flowing through us will transform our unsightly behaviour. He transforms us, not we transform Him to give us His love.

The Father's love for us is reflected in the story of the prodigal the son was quickly accepted by the father in his arms with no questions asked, no lectures given, no reprimanding eventhough his son squandered his inheritance. That is our Father's love for us. Isn't it amazing and reassuring?

God has always relished this deep relationship with us no matter what price. Since the fall of man, God has been relentlessly pursuing that love relationship with us by willingly sacrificing His Son so that this love relationship can be redeemed. That is good news.

Nothing can stop that love (Romans 8:39). He is madly in love with us.

Continue to walk and treasure that love relationship with Him. It costs the Son of God's life. The enemy wants to fool us into believing that we have to earn that love relationship with God. The enemy wants us to repeat what our ancestors did - to make us wander aimlessly in the wilderness with every wild imaginations, high sounding philosophies or "good" ideas or methods that exalteth against Him. Please know that the wilderness wandering of the people of God recorded in the book of Numbers 14:11-35 was a result of their unbelief.

Stand firm against the wiles (a stratagem or trick intended to deceive or ensnare) of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11).

Rejoice. :)
