Pleasing to God and approved by men?

(Luke 17 :20-21)
20Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within[b] you."

(Romans 14:17-18)

17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.

The Kingdom of God or the reign of God is within us, not somewhere beyond reach or in the future. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Rigteousness (which is right standing before God) is a free gift from God which is received by faith. This is our position in Christ. The enemy does not like us to know this but instead, likes us to be distracted with busyness to earn our righteousness and then condemn us for falling short to achieve it. Once we know our position in Christ, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit become part of us.

Rejoice. Romans 14: 18 says ... .this attitude is pleasing to God and approved by men. Wow!
